My favorite character is definitely Tom Sawyer. Tom is a mischievous boy who can't make up his mind. Sometimes Tom acts like he is a kid by running away or pulling pranks, but at the end of the book he knows that he has to eventually grow up. Throughout the whole story Tom is the character who makes you laugh, and makes you wish you were with him and Huck on their many adventures. In a lot of ways I wish I was like Tom Sawyer, and in a lot of ways I think I am. That is why Tom is the most memorable character for me.
My favorite character is Tom Sawyer. I love his mischievous side, but there are also points in the story where he shows love. I also like Huck Finn, because he's sort of the misfit in the book. He's loved by the boys but doesn't really have anyone to lean on and love. There are times when I, like everyone, feel left out and like I don't fit in, so he's very easy to relate to.
Of course, Tom Sawyer is my favorite character. He is the poster boy of being young. Tom always brightens up any adventure with his constant flame of enthusiasm. I also liked Becky a lot, because she portrayed the normal young girl. I could easily relate to her hate for Tom and attempts at making him jealous. These two are so life-like to me that they just stick out in the story.
My favorite character is for sure Becky. She is amazing in contrast to Tom. I love how she gets "appalled" at his pranks but is in love with him. She tries to make him jealous after they "break up" by going to another guy. This is such teenage behavior yet they are portrayed almost as children. I love the characters in the book!!
My favorite character is Becky Thatcher. She makes me laugh with her attempts to make Tom jealous. It's nice to be the all-knowing reader because I know I find humor in the couples actions but at the same time they both have to be so frustrated with each other. Becky is a sweetheart and I love that they are all portrayed as children in the book but have such teenage actions and intentions toward each other. I didn't only like Becky though, I loved Tom too. He's such a rambunctious kid and has such a heart for adventure. At the same time he always comes back to Becky, and in the end, chooses her over adventure when he goes to her picnic instead of waiting around with Huck.
My favorite character definalty has to be Tom. He is the person that can always make you laugh. His ideas juts blow my mind! They make me want to jump in the book an learn all his tricks becasue i wish i could do that! I also like that he falls in love with becky within a week. I think being a high school that is kind of easy to realte to.
